US #Treasure bonds aren’t selling very well…if they don’t sell well, then the government has to make money another way…which means raising interest rates and raising taxes!  Looks like 2010 is going to be another rough year…Feds also said they expect the high unemployment rate to stay the same for the next 2 years!  Yep, that will really stimulate the economy, don’t you think?  You think that guy in Austin was crazy or just didn’t want to deal with this Government Bail-out stuff anymore?

NEW YORK (UPI) — A case of #mumps at a summer camp has spread to more than 1,000 people in New York and New Jersey, most of them adolescent Orthodox Jews, officials said.

It is the largest outbreak of the virus since 2006, when the United States saw a resurgence of mumps with 6,584 cases nationwide, the Centers for Disease Control said Monday.

Federal Housing Administration (#FHA) is tightening lending standards in an effort to bolster its dwindling reserves. The new lending standards will make it tougher for some prospective buyers to purchase a home by requiring a higher down payment than the typical 3.5 percent for some borrowers, higher insurance premiums & reduced seller concessions.

and the sticker will say…”Proud Sponsors of the American Heart Association” or Proud Sponsor of the American Diabetic Association…so it was no surprise to me when they made this political move…

The American Heart Association (AHA) has decided to remove the entire desserts category from its list of products that could qualify for its Heart Check front of pack labeling scheme.

The program’s simple red heart check mark is endorsed by the AHA, and requires foods to be low in saturated fat and cholesterol in order to qualify. Other nutritional criteria covered by the program include being high in whole grains, fiber and added nutrients, and low in sodium, saturated, trans and total fat. Launched in 1995, it was one of the first front-of-pack nutrition labeling schemes, designed to give consumers quick, at-a-glance nutritional information. Until now, sugar content has not been considered.

During the past 15 years, desserts have been allowed to qualify, and even with the decision to close the category, some desserts still meet the criteria and will retain the check mark until their contracts expire later this year.

An AHA spokesperson told FoodNavigator-USA.com via email: “The association advocates limiting the amount of discretionary calories in the diet which come from added sugars. Since desserts are a significant source of added sugars, we have elected to close the dessert category to further certification.”

So, even if the dessert was made of whole grains, with lots of fiber which cancels out some sugars and encourages a healthier probiotic field within the gut…even if the dessert was more healthy than a piece of fat laden dessert…they decide that instead of offering those who want a healthy dessert a choice between healthy and unhealthy, they would rather you have no choice at all and then they have no liability at all…you know, when you sit on a fence…you just get a sore behind!

3 Companies, trying to buy a percentage of a small company who went into default last year, were ignored by #Attorneys and #TARP #Bank Officials after trying to pay the default note in full…The debtors attorney tried contacting DLEvans Attorneys 5 times on February 1st and 5 times on February 2nd to tell them that he had received offers to pay the default note in full before the Bankruptcy proceedings on February 3rd.  DLEvans Bank, a TARP bank in Idaho, was also given a written letter from a 3rd company on February 3rd with a third offer, paid in full, which the bank manager ignored as well in order to pursue the company in default…Why?  Why spend tax payer money to pursue a company that has no assets to pay its debt when you have 3 other companies asking to pay the debt in full in order to obtain a percentage of that company’s intellectual property?  Do all our banks do this, is this why we as a nation are in such dire straights?  As Taxpayers we have to ask…Do these guys really understand what they are doing?  DLEvans Bank had already paid at least 20,000.00 in attorneys fees to pursue a company that had given evidence that two shysters had taken off with the money, contracts and formulas…and the bank knew because they had had open conversations with the men when they tried to drain the rest of the line of credit.  So, why not take the offers and let the taxpayers be paid back?  So, now DLEvans strategy is going to be to go after this small company again, garnishing wages and forcing these people to lose their home and their ability to keep their job…and for what?  If they go into bankruptcy court, they have no assets because the two criminals took all the money…so, Taxpayers get nothing and in the meantime, DLEVans bank has paid a lot of taxpayers money to attorneys, for no results…again!

In a move for control, The City of Rigby, led by Planning and Zoning Secretary for the City of Rigby, 5 families had their land devalued and are now forced to leave the city.  Some of these families have been here since the 1800’s, donated the land the city was founded on and dug all the waterways within the City of Rigby so it would thrive.  The City of Rigby Prosecutor, in a move to close pockets of county land, has now forced these 5 families that farm their lands to “move or be prosecuted” for animal or watering their crops issues.  These issues started when Developers in the area tried to force property owners to leave in 2003.  The Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Rigby and Jefferson County is also a Developer.  Can these things be related?  Hmmmm, I wonder, especially since the local magistrate judge is also a developer with Pioneer Developing.  Can you say…”Judicial Misconduct”?  It has been alleged that the Jefferson County Prosecutor was hired by the City of Shelley to fight a case on the other side of this issue.  He purposely “lost” the case as it went to the supreme court in order to lay precedent for the City of Rigby case that would follow…which qualifies as judicial misconduct…but  this is Idaho folks, they wouldn’t know judicial misconduct if it hit the bench with a silver gavel!

Today on the local news, the ASPCA of Bonneville County chapter president was looking at some jail time from the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney.

This is from a case last year when a female dog who was nursing puppies got hit by a car and was left in the snow and sub-zero temperatures for 3 days by her owner so she could take care of the puppies.

The local ASPCA was called by neighbors who were concerned about the dog who suffered a front fracture and a back fractured hip and was left out in the cold on the side of the road close enough to the house to still take care of the puppies.

The ASPCA rep went to the dog owners home, got out of her car, went up to the  door, knocked and when there was no answer, she left.

She and the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney have a past history, one that is contentious at best.  She said that she was afraid that if she stepped off the sidewalk or off the driveway that prosecution would follow, and it looks like she was right.

She called the Boise Chapter of the ASPCA, this gentlemen called the owner of the dog and asked permission to treat the dog, take the puppies with the mother and when she was better, bring her and the puppies back.  The owner gave permission after the Boise ASPCA said that they would pay for the treatment in full.

The owner helped the Boise Chapter of the ASPCA load the puppies and dog.

Later, the prosecuting attorney along with the County Sheriff issued warrants for the arrest of the Boise ASPCA chapter rep that came to get the dogs for theft.

After months of arguments back and forth between attorneys, and after the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney billed the county for hours of prosecution, they finally dropped the charges…when Oprah Winfreys show contacted the ASPCA of Boise and asked if he could come on the show, and after protests by local county residents made the TV news for several nights in a row.

Now the focus has shifted to the ASPCA of Bonneville County and the Jefferson Prosecuters office is going after a retired older woman who donates her time and much of her own money for the protection of animals in this area.

It is rumored the the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney has hard feeling against “Andi” because she had police take three emaciated horses from a county resident in the past.  I guess he took exception to her doing her job!

So here’s the deal people.  Jefferson County is not an Empire, but the Prosecuting Attorney treats it like it is, and he is its Emperor.  He has tapped into city utilities without permits…anyone else would have gone to jail!  He smells of Judicial Misconduct all over the place, but guess what?  His partner in crime is a Magistrate Judge in Idaho and it’s also rumored that he is protected by many in State Government from the Attorney Generals office to the Governors Mansion itself.

Remember in 2006, the LaCrosse Team at Duke University that was charged with Rape?  Remember what happened to the Prosecuting Attorney in that case?

Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong who had been denounced as a “rogue prosecutor” by Cooper, withdrew from the case in January 2007 after the North Carolina State Bar filed ethics charges against him. That June, Nifong was disbarred for “dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation”, making Nifong the first prosecutor in North Carolina history to lose his law license based on actions in a case. Nifong was found guilty of criminal contempt and served one day in jail.^[8]

Does this kind of conduct ring a bell?  This was a wake up call for many wondering about the ethics of a lot of political leaders who are called to “Serve” the best interests of the Public and was discovered that they were only “Serving” their own egos and bank accounts.

Idahoans are blind to a lot of these questions, this population blindly follows anyone that has the ability to manipulate positions of power to parlay it into money that many here seems to worship.

I questioned a former US Marshal in this area at one time, and asked him about the corruption here and how to explain it.  He said,  “This place is the perfect hiding place for the Mafia and any crime base.  The predominate religion is focused on conversion, not investigation or suspicion, so they allow murders, drug dealers, sex offenders, extortionists and liars among them so they can teach them the ways of God.  What happens is, these dishonest people are so good at hiding their true selves, that they start to corrupt the public and end up converting them to their way of life.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to a church meeting and have seen people that I have warrants for, bad warrants…for murder, rape and extortion, and have had to excuse my self from the meeting to go outside and wait so I can arrest them.  This happens not only on church building grounds, but also in the holiest of places.  I have never had it happen more than it happens here in Idaho!”

Do you think he was right?  I do!  I’ve seen it as well!  So has the Idaho State Police, and I know that from personal experience when we tried to catch the “King of Kiddie Porn” right here in Idaho Falls, a man that gave money and support to the Bonneville Prosecuting Attorney who was latter convicted and sent to prison and many others in political office…and where does it end?  Who will be the next target?

My husband has a saying…if a man can murder, rape, extort and bully, chances are he’s a liar too!…remember that folks!  There are a lot of politicians out there that can bully, bend and break the law at their leisure, what else can that do that we don’t know about?  What else can they get away with that we don’t know about?
